Spyware Manual Removal

In addition to running anti-spyware utilities such as Ad-Aware and SpyBot, you may need to manually remove some spyware and/or unnecessary programs. First, boot the computer into Safe Mode (by pressing F8 as the computer begins to boot up). Next, go to Start, Programs and if you see any of the programs listed below, check to see if they have a built in "uninstaller" you can use to uninstall the program. If so, run it. Next, open the Control Panel , open Add/Remove Programs and remove any of the following software in the list below.

• • Note: This is a partial list of spyware and/or unnecessary programs! Also remove any other similar sounding programs that are of a suspect nature and can be safely determined to be unneeded.
