BAMJAC GROUP has certified technicians ready to help you with your PC. Bring your PC into our shop, or have one of our certified technicians come out to you.
REPAIR FEES:DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE desktop computer Bring any desktop computer into the shop, and our ceritfied technicians will find the problem free of charge. When we find the problem, we will tell you in plain english what has gone wrong. As well as give you a list of options with a cost/benefit analysis. |

DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE laptop computer Laptops require much more time and work to diagnose than desktop computers. Due to this, we must charge a small fee to diagnose laptops. Don't worry though, if you decide to have the computer fixed, we will deduct the diagnostic charge from the final cost!! |

DATA RECOVERY If you have a damaged hard drive that you want to get important data off of, we are you best option in town. We have a high rate of success, even when others have been unable to retrieve data. It is very important that you quit using the hard drive right away. The more it is used, the less likely data recovery becomes. |
$50 $50 for any data recovery attempt. $10 per GB recovered. Maximum charge is $250. |
DC JACK REPLACEMENT Laptop computers A DC jack is where your AC power source plugs into your laptop computer. The DC jack often comes loose from the board inside your laptop. When this happens your laptop battery will begin to stop taking a charge. Often times, you will be able to push the plug tightly to get power, but it will eventually fail. |

$75 - $400 Unfortunately it is impossible to give a good estimate for LCD repair without actually looking at the unit for diagnostics. Many times a laptop will exhibit the same symptoms for different types of failure. Also, the price of LCD screens vary greatly for different models and screen sizes. Each unit looked at will be subject to our $40 laptop diagnostic charge, which will be deducted if you decide to get it repaired with BAMJAC. |
Repair fees do not include parts.
Bloomington/Normal No charge for travel time. Missed
appointments when a technician is dispatched will be billed the one
hour minimum.
Licensed software only.
All repairs are covered under a minimum 30-day labor and 30-day parts
warranty, or as specified by the manufacturer. Bamjac Group recommends
regular data backup and assume no responsibility for lost data.
Software Issues
Bamjac Group can diagnose and fix some software issues for our standard
charge ($40/hr). Please be advised that software issues are not covered
under manufacturer's warranty, nor under any maintenance
Contracts.
For any software issues that require reinstallation, including operating
system software, the customer will need to provide or purchase appropriate
licensed software.
